Day 5-6
Hola and sorry I missed yesterday. I was going to write about the day after we got back from dinner, but then we did an hour of worship which I led. So when we finished that up it was time for the students to get in their rooms and well I ran into one in the hall when I was heading to the computer and she was sick, so I had to take care of her. That took till almost midnight, therefore no post.
Yesterday we had a day off. We did site seeing and shopping. We got to see the President of Huonduras up close as he was in Comayagua for the first time ever. What a celebration they had. We spent the afternnon by the pool at the hotel. Jack got a bloody nose doing a belly smacker and it took a while to get it to stop bleeding. I ended up shoving a tampon up his nose, very useful things they are and that did the trick. Many laughed and well his dad enjoyed it. In the late afternoon a group went to a church to do their dramas while the rest of us met up with them for dinner. Then the hour long worship when we got back. A good day.
Today we have several teens sick again with Diarrhea, Kendra and Kara stayed back from church with me. Kara is running a feverwith the big D. Jon Boudouris woke up with his eyes almost swallen shut. An allergic reaction of some type. I am treating him with Benadryl, no epi pen yet. The rest of the group is at church right now and then tonight we have church again and Nate Towns will be preaching. So if you read this before 8PM your time start praying for Nate.
Tomorrow we head back to San Pedro Sula. Pray for our drive back through the mountains, for the teens and adults not to have the big D. Also pray that as we are traveling around the next 2 days that we have our eyes open to the people in need around us and being willing to share our faith with them.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, pray for us and leaving comments. Here are some pics finally, enjoy.

Day 4
Hola! Esta semana ha estado fantastica!
Those are the words of the birthday girl today, this week has been fantastic. The day has been filled with activity. Two teams were sent about an hour away to a small rural village area, situated at the base of a mountain range. The roads were very rough and we got stopped by the police, who asked our driver what we were doing. After they explained about the presentations and the books we would be passing out to school, the police asked for books to give their children. How awesome is our God. You know we do our stuff in schools, but the day was also filled with dancing in the street with kids, sitting on a horse that a native Honduran was riding by us, while we were dancing in the street and he stopped, then let the girls get on his horse. Getting peel and pull twislers to go in our nose and out our mouths.Playing soccer in the pouring rain with kids at the small village right before the God-Man movie tonight. Using an outhouse that had a toilet bowl, no seat, but was surround by curtains, not walls. O that was so strange. And the biggest thing was finding marijuana next to the church we were showing the movie at, which the school was right there too. Now we are just back to the hotel and we have not eaten dinner as of yet and it is almost 10 PM. The other two teams we have not even yet seen tonight, so I will add more when I hear from them. All the teens are sitting around me yelling out what to put in this post, so I hope you enjoyed it.Tomorrow we have a day at the market and church in the evening. It is to be a good long Honduran service.
Pray for Abby as she is the only one sick today and she got it bad. She has spent the day in bed as far as I can tell.
Pray that what we have seen and done these past 4 days will continue to work in use as we continue to interact with the Hondurans.
Lyndsay gives a shout out to her mom for her Birthday tomorrow, which as of this moment in your time zone is her birthday, so Happy Birthday Robin!
Remember to post comments ..... the kids are loving hearing stuff from home!

Day 3
Buenos Noches,
Now this sounds just wrong, but it is the same old, same old. Which is really a good thing. We are getting to many school per team per day, having a great time sharing our faith and loving on kids. It is just so incredible to watch them recieve their books and start reading them. Then they ask us for more for their family, which we are not to give out, but we have been giving them to kids that are on the other side of the fences of these school. It is strange that the schools all have razor wire or barbed wire on the top of their fences. Glad we do not have that in the states.
Tomorrow, 2 teams will be traveling to a village about 30-45 minutes and staying there all day until 8 PM. The other 2 teams will stay local going to schools here and both groups will be doing the God-Man movie in the evening.
Prayer Requests
1 We have been having illness go through some of us today. A lot of vomiting and diarrhea by a few. Grace and Elizabeth are still under the weather tonight but Andy, Tori, Scott, CJ amd Adam are on the other side. Adam is our star of the day because it came upon him while we were out at a school and he ran off, threw up, came back, did the drama and gave his life application without skipping a beat. God is good. That said pray the V/D stops with just those 7.
2 Due to the earthquakes of the past few weeks, the tremors that followed the big one of two weeks ago have damaged the main water line here in Comayagua and they may cancel schools tomorrow because of that. Pray that they will be open and that the water supply stays healthy for the people.
3 Continue to pray for our travel around the area.
4 Pray we each stay pliable to what God is doing in us and that we make time to listen for Him.
THANKS AGAIN for your prayers for us. We are loving what God is showing us and how He is stretching each of us.
One more thing .... please do comment on here, i tell each teen when they have a little love from home and many want to hear that you are praying for them.

Day Two
Hola Amigo´s
Tonight we had a great thunderstorm here while we were showing the God- Man film. THE RAIN THOUGH CAUSES LESS PEOPLE TO SHOW UP FOR THE MOVIE, SO IT IS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING WITH THAT. As you notice there are many typos in my updates, first and foremost it is because I suck at typing, second is that this keyboard is in Spanish so I screw up a lot. So please forgive me.
Things are going well for each of our four groups. Team 2 seems to have all the large schools to go to. Teams 1 and 3 are hiting the small schools, while team 4 is getting moderate to large schools. We all have fallen in love with the students and experiencing Honduras culture in many ways. The food is good though we are not getting any fruit, which is strange since we see bananas all over, but are never getting fed them. We are busy from 7 or 8 AM till 9 PM and then lights out is at 1030. We are having some issues with a few teens not staying hydrated, even though we carry 5 gallons of water with each team. As leaders we are constantly telling them to drink but a few of your kids are not listening. They are fine, just getting sluggish and a bit dizzy. So pray that they all will have open ears and a spirit of obedience to us on that one.
All the teams have really done well in their presentations and dramas today. They are owning it and being over the top, which is great. Several teams had opportunity to play soccer with kids today too. You all can be proud of how your teens are working hard at communicating and loving the Hondurans.
Continue to pray for safe travel around the city, that we all are wise with hydration and continue to be bold in sharing our faith. Thanks for entrustng your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews to us and your willingness to trust God in this adventure. May we all be changed for it.

HOLA,
It was a very busy day for all 4 teams as we spread out across the city of Comayagua and for my team we went outside the city by an hour. The first day of being in the schools went well and varied greatly. For one team they had all small groups of like 30 -50. FOR ANOTHER THEY WENT BETWEEN 350 - 1000 KIDS. The day was long for all of us. My team left at 830 and did not get back till 830 and had to wait to have dinner then. We shwed the God -Man movie and many kids prayed to recieve Christ after the movie this evening. The other groups attended local churches this evening. Tomorrow will be more of the same filled day. Jay and Laura´s group will be heading back out to very large assemblies, well the rest of us are unsure of the sizes we will be seeing.
Continue to pray for our travels around, our health, that we stay hydrated in this high humidity and that we let God work through us. Also pray for our teens to be bold in their drams and not be timitd in thier acting.
If I have more time tomorrow I will try to post some pics.

Safe Arrival
Hola from Comayagua, Honduras!
We left Westgate Chapel at 3 AM and Arrived in San Pedro Sula, Honduras at 130 PM with no glitches, praise God. We had a very short layover in Atlanta, basically we got off the one plane and ran to board the other in less than an hour going past 4 terminals with the 43 of us. Upon arriving in San Pedro Sula the humidity was stifling, but o what a beautiful plce to fly into. In less than an hour we were loaded into 4 15 passanger vans, they are nothing like back home and driving is crazy here. As it was in Gabon. Comayagua was just a short 4 hour drive through road that ran through the mountian with twist turns, a bridge out from the earthquake two weeks ago and many of us getting car sick, me included in that. But I must say the views were spectacular, when you weren´t trying to not throw up. We arrived here at 530 PM their time 730 our body time and we are all exhausted.
Our next 4 days start at 7 AM and go till 9 PM. we will be making it to24 schools per day between our 4 teams and then in the evening we partner with 2 local churches per night to present the gospel and show the God-Man movie. It will be a very hectic busy schedule.
Please Pray for our health, travel around the area and that we all seek the Holy Spirits lead. Thanks for reading and the update may be a bit tough to get typed up on my part because the computer at the hotel is only in Spanish and well, I do not speak or read Spanish. That makes navigating to this blog address a bit difficult. I guess you can pray that I can get the WiFi here at the hotel to work right so I can use my own computer.
leave comments for your teens and I will try to get the messages to them

Here are some pics of our Team Practice of Dramas this past Sunday
Job well done by all our teams
Jack trying to win Jenelle's Heart
John showed Katherine how God could make her heart whole again after it is ripped up. Katherine is reading from the Book of Hope.
Jake coming to Allison's aid to repair her broken heart by showing her God
Scott trying to get Elizabeth's heart by taking her picture, making her a model
This is just 1 of 7 dramas we will be doing for schools. Lucky for us this one uses no words so No Espanol for this one.
It is called Broken Heart and it is about how we give pieces of ourselves to things and people. Only to be let down and a bit of your heart damaged each time. Then a Christian comes up and shows how God can make it whole again, by the sacrifice of his Son.

First Post
Hello Everyone!
This is a blog to keep our loved ones and prayer partners up to date on the happenings leading into and during our trip.
Here are a few quick prayer request for the 14 days we have left.
1 That our teams would really get our dramas down
2 That we grow closer together as a group and closer to God.
3 For the group as a whole, to trust God and us as leaders, due to Steve's resignation and that he will not be part of the team now.
Thanks for taking the time to read about what we are/will be doing.
