Safe Arrival

Hola from Comayagua, Honduras!

We left Westgate Chapel at 3 AM and Arrived in San Pedro Sula, Honduras at 130 PM with no glitches, praise God. We had a very short layover in Atlanta, basically we got off the one plane and ran to board the other in less than an hour going past 4 terminals with the 43 of us. Upon arriving in San Pedro Sula the humidity was stifling, but o what a beautiful plce to fly into. In less than an hour we were loaded into 4 15 passanger vans, they are nothing like back home and driving is crazy here. As it was in Gabon. Comayagua was just a short 4 hour drive through road that ran through the mountian with twist turns, a bridge out from the earthquake two weeks ago and many of us getting car sick, me included in that. But I must say the views were spectacular, when you weren´t trying to not throw up. We arrived here at 530 PM their time 730 our body time and we are all exhausted.

Our next 4 days start at 7 AM and go till 9 PM. we will be making it to24 schools per day between our 4 teams and then in the evening we partner with 2 local churches per night to present the gospel and show the God-Man movie. It will be a very hectic busy schedule.

Please Pray for our health, travel around the area and that we all seek the Holy Spirits lead. Thanks for reading and the update may be a bit tough to get typed up on my part because the computer at the hotel is only in Spanish and well, I do not speak or read Spanish. That makes navigating to this blog address a bit difficult. I guess you can pray that I can get the WiFi here at the hotel to work right so I can use my own computer.

leave comments for your teens and I will try to get the messages to them

  1. Glad you are there safe. What a challenge, to see the beauty through the suffering. Your team will never forget their time there, van ride and all! If you continue to struggle with the WiFi, Victoria may have to take your dictation! Rumor has it that she is nearly fluent in the Spanish language.
